Maybe you'll find something you did in here. Then I would have a piece of you...inside of me. Think about that for a while.

Happy New Year to anyone who still reads my journals I cry myself to sleep at night!

As an unintentional revamp for the new year, I moved my old art into my storage and cleaned stuff up a bit. Everything that's up now is after about late '09 or so.

Fun fact: The very first thing I did for the new year was step on some fallen goo in the kitchen. It was uncomfortable for my foot place. And I completely missed the countdown because I was too busy searching for a bottle opener. Let's hope the rest of my year isn't as awkward as the first 2 minutes of it. Well, I'm sure it'll be awkward enough, as per usual.

Anyway. Have a good one. Don't die or anything. That would be uncomfortable.

Happy belated birthday homes. Ground exploding, demon, corpses, confetti, you get the idea.

Also, I wasn't aware that I was the plural form of a location for people to live in. This makes me a bit excited, actually.

You're Arie's bro!! Now I found you on DA ;) (Diko from FB) Amazing gallery, you guys have such talent, I'm barely starting to learn how to use Photoshop. CS4 is a hideous bitch goddess and it is so tedious!! Keep up the good work!

:D Ahh, thanks! Yeah, CS4 can be ridiculous. It takes a while, but once you get the hang of it you can do a lot of stuff. And, even after years, you'll still notice new things about it. XD It's an amazing programme. I'd like to learn more about Corel Painter though.

I hope so! Feels like I've been using the same 5 brushes over and over lol Ooh I keep hearing about programs like Corel, open canvas, etc...what's the difference between them and PS? just curious, I was getting a tablet on Friday

Well, Corel Painter is good for making pictures look traditional. Using a tablet in it works wonderfully. Open Canvas is good for black-and-white sketches, which can be brought into other programmes to add colour and such. Again, the tablet works great in it. Photoshop, despite the brushes you can get for it, doesn't seem to give you the precise brush strokes and sketch quality of the other two programmes. It's a great programme, but the other two were made solely for doing artwork, while Photoshop spread itself thin by broadening its uses.
